Omens of War Progression Quests
Walkthrough

Brief Checklist is here.

Well, this picture pretty much sums it all up. Group in the areas to the left to acquire the flag bits, and raid the areas to the right to acuqire the key bits. Spells are acquired by turning in the various Muramite Runes: Lesser (L66), Minor (L67) normal (L68), Greater (L69), Glowing (L70), and Ancient (Ancient). The higher level runes drop from higher level mobs in harder zones; Glowing can be one-grouped in Riftseekers' Sanctum; Ancient come from Raid mobs only, in RCoD, RS, and Anguish.

Good luck.

So you're going to get your sigs, as many have before you. But most have gotten them and forgot to leave their info. But dont worry, I won't! I just finished getting mine, and it was in fact a bit of a struggle. But they are worth it. And looking back, I had a blast getting some. They are just like shards, and will bring you to some unexpected places for some fun with friends. I am going to assume you have maps from EQ-Fiend via eq-toolbox.com; if you dont have them, please visit the site and download them. Unizip them to your EverQuest maps directory.

Riftseekers: The Box
Box is given to you by Taromani , a pyrilan type mob in Riftseekers. From zone, start heading upstairs, make first right, and she is in second room on left. Please note the chimera to her right can be named, and if you pop invis regardless of how far you are, it will attack =( it sucks but nothing you can do; I aggroed him, ran away, faded, and kept continuing with chat. You can pop your invis and say "I will assist with the favors" and she will usually give the box. Either way will work, you decide.
(Note, this is a container, and will require a main inventory slot, so you may want to wait for last.)

Riftseekers: Crystal Gemmed Signet
Since you're already in riftseekers, we will talk about that sig next. A Dragorn Battlemaster (sig mob) ph is unknown as sig mob is more common then the ph; I've never even seen ph. 2 spawn points. First is very close to the "xp" spot most groups camp at, walk all the way upstairs to the "statue room" and if you're facing into the room, its the room on your left, inside the room, its the spawn on the left side. Pyrilen WILL assist the ph, but not the actual sig mob (factions /shrug). Second spawn point is in Taromani's room; if you're facing in the room, its spawn on the left. nasty area here, bring a solid group if you're going to camp this spot. You can also camp chimera for a loot which makes camp not so bad.
Riftseekers sig is very straightforward, just need a good group to help clear a few spawns, which wont be hard cause xp is great and theres steady action there.

Muramite Proving Grounds: Glimmering Signet
A Dragorn Tactician (sig mob, cons red and quads for up to 950ish) ph a dragorn sentinel. -3726 -601 -307 is the first spawn point; I won't be listing second because you have to kill about 40 see invis mobs to get to that area. He is a super super common spawn, I see him up in mpg all the time. If he isnt up, you can easily kite the ph (dragorns dont summon in mpg). In his general area, there is a roamer I'd recommend killing. Dispose of him then kite the ph (plenty of room if you kite towards the way you came and the lightning mob). Directions: go to where it says Taskfiend camp on the map, Head north, make right, follow wall a bit, and you'll see when the mobs change to dragorns thats his area, the ph is kinda hiding behind a small wall, and just plain looks suspicious. :) Despite the fact he is red, he has same hp as rest of the sig mobs, and can be tanked by a moderately geared player. Very easy sig, spawn rate is fast in mpg and surrounding mobs do not see invis, neither does sig mob. Hardest thing to deal with will be pvp in the area if on Zek.

Wall of Slaughter: Tarnished Signet
A dragorn Mastermind (sig mob) ph: a dragorn serf. There are 4, yes 4, possible places he can spawn. I've never seen more than 1 up at once, but im pretty sure it's possible. First spawn: Straight out from NC zone, he will be hiding in the corner of a broken building at -816 -906. If you are a non pulling class, I'd recommend hanging at NC zone and camping this spawn. Long as you clear the bazu / feran that roam near zone youll have no problem singling this spawn. Second spawn +480 -605 in a small camp around a fire next to the actual wall in the middle of zone, In his camp are 2 discordlings. Please note you CAN train right past veliktorin and he wont assist. By the time you get to NC with ph , you will have at least 5 adds. As a bard this was np for me; I just mez him close to nc, train adds away, and fade, return and grab, however ALL MOBS in wos will poof if un aggroed and out of spawn for more then 5 seconds so be quick! There is a leash type effect that has a radius from where it spawns. Spawn point 3: -528 +661 All the way left and top of bottom half of zone. In a building with 3 other dragorns, they WILL assist the ph (serf) so you will have problem pulling this spawn if you're not a pulling class. They will NOT assist the actual sig mob if he is already up. Also best spawn rate imo. Spawn point 4: +1172 -1171 This Serf is right next to mpg bridge, he isnt standing right at it, but he is real close, if you're facing the ramp, he is on right side, behind the rock hiding cause he knows he is going to get pkd. Recommended spot to camp if your with non pulling classes. Easiest spot, simplest etc, This is the slacker camp but probably has the worst spawn rate. As a whole, WOS is said to be the easiest sig because of the 4 spawn points. I can pull all of the ph's to NC zone np and id say its 1/4 meaning if you clear all 4 ph's youll prolly get a sig mob.

The Sewers of Dranik: Discolored Signet
The sewers is an expedition, starts from grand historian in Ruined city of dranik, he on left side once you enter the zone, xpo entrance is very close to there (right over first bridge). A cunning dragorn = sig mob ph = a twisted stoneworker loc : +1218 -26.45 (on map). Spawns on ramp in second upside down U on map. Right after the big murk room. At the actual sig camp , there is 1 roamer (murk lifedrinker) to deal with. He is annoying because he will spawn in a full room of golems (golems are shamans, most at least) and will be hasted / sowed etc. He runs super fast so make sure you dispell; snare is a must. Camp is pretty simple provided you can get there, once you / group is there only have to clear the 1 roamer and sig mob. Also please note you CAN coh in oow expos. Let me say one more thing about this expo, first that there are 3 versions of the expo, (what the *$%% do you mean three versions?) Once you're inside if you were to do a /who all yourself you will get a zone: draniksewersa or draniksewersb or draniksewersc. Each zone has a different map and the sig mob is only found in C. There are 2 ways to find out which expo you got, have someone zone in and do a /who on them or when you get the expo historian says watch out for bla bla , although they are great and powerful some would say the treasure is well worth it, one of the mobs he says is ukun sentinel for C. I forget the other mob and the mobs for A, and B. It takes a few times to get the right expo, but you must get C or it's all for nothing.

Another note on this expo thats important ( getting to the camp ) is no cakewalk , there are traps on the way that will break your invis. Some people say that you can just haul ass through them. This works id say 70% of the time on most traps and 50% or less on the second trap, second trap is the problem, it almost always hit me as I ran by. They are very easily disarmed by a rogue / bard but not every group has one. If you are lucky enough, follow behind the rogue and stop before the traps, (traps are on map) and let him disarm, then you move up, They are over thirty secs to recycle once disarmed so even slackers can get by.

See invis: YES there are some , and I'm going to say the majority of the draniksewersc expos have them. Most commonly murks, as soon as you start getting close to the sig area there is usually a few see invis murks, and since that area is too spawn intensive, It may force you to start at a earlier spot in the expo and begin clearing. Well, I failed at least 8 times with groups just trying to break in, so we could clear to the see invis area. And never once was i successful. So it boils down to luck, the time that i got my sig, there were no see invis the whole way to camp, I disarmed and brought group and we killed ph and roamer and kicked back it was great. So it will be up to you, you can either work with what you got or get a sewers C until there are no see invis. I guess you have to look at the type of people in your group and decide. Once your at the camp and set up, spawn is 1/3 id say , sig mob is a breeze also.

Catacombs of Dranik: Dust-Marred Signet
Expedition, starts in RCOD from grand historian. Insidious dragorn = sig , ph = a noc scout. Spawns on South east of big room (clearly shown on map). While some have said its very possible to kill him at his spawn, this did not work for my group, and we tried it 3 times. There are many roamers in this area, if one walks by and aggroes, will pull the whole room. I STRONGLY recommend setting up camp in the room PAST the big room, there is a nice hallway shielded from the big room where you can get nice and comfy. However there are 3-5 roamers that MUST be killed before you attempt to break the big room. Most of them are ukun, and can come from both directions, stay invis till you see one and have tank break invis. Bringing some form of crowd control is essential unless you have a big hp sham and a cleric to pump out tons of heals. It's very common to have 2-3 mobs at camp, some will be buffed and can pump out some damage. Once roamers are dead, tag the snake on left, he will come single, then hug the wall and pull sig ph. You dont really need a uber puller, but if you bring a quality group down, you can kill the 3 named ph's in the room for some runes / loots. Some surprisingly nice stuff drops at this camp and you may as well do something while you wait for your sigs. Oout of all the sigs, this one requires a very solid group. This and sewers seem to be what hold most people back.

Dranik's Hollows (murkglider hive): Two-toned signet
Given by Grand historian in Dranik scar, there are 3 options for expo's The Watering hole, Fire pits, and murk hive, They are given to you at random and sig can only be obtained in the murkglider hive. A shrewd dragorn = sig mob A blighted cave rat = ph Spawns in the left / center of pool room. Getting to the pool room sucks. There are almost always see invis. It's pretty far to the pool room as well. Mobs are easy and all melee types but if your group is lucky enough to have a crazy bard and a mage - you can skip everything. My tactic was find see invis mobs, mez them and fade (mage runs past) and continue toward pool room , at times can be as many as 5-6. Eventually you will come to hallway before pool room, I camped here even tho there is 1 roamer rat, and a bat spawn at end of hall. Also please note that the blighted cave rat ph does not summon, and i kited them until named spawnd (pretty rare spawn rate) have had to clear as many as 8 to get shrewd. Breaking the pool room sucks alot, there are 2 spawns on the immediate right of room (right can be inky murkglider), and two spawns on the immediate left. There are also two spawns in middle left (sig mob ph and random murk) at any given time a random newb pull will result in 4 -5 mobs sometimes all 6. As a bard i can single np , but that might not be so easy for everyone, even a skilled puller may pull a few. But like i said before, nothing summons, so feel free to root / park adds or have kiters kite some. Sig mob does summon tho , and snares.

Ruined City of Dranik: Weather-Worn Signet
A dragorn prodigy = sig ph = a dragorn turncoat. From the bloodfields zone head straight out into zone, make a left at the tornpat camp (forget exact name but he is the guy always spamming zone) head over the first bridge, make a right , and head over second bridge , as your facing the third bridge, he is the dragorn to the left of bridge. loc is +206 +992.
