Dragons of Norrath Progression Quests

Note: Common areas will be in default (black); I'll use blue for good (Keepers of Norrath) and red for evil (Dark Reign) portions.

Level Zero: Beginning Faction

In order to start these Quests you need to have at least indifferent faction standing with the Keepers of Norrath or the Dark Reign. You raise this faction by turning in the faction token to Wayfarers Mercernary Youra or Limann. If you do a quest for the opposing faction, just destroy the opposing faction token (or better yet, bank one, as they are lore, to prevent an accidental turn-in); there will then be no penalty for helping your friends who are on opposing faction.

You earn the faction tokens through individual or group quests. You can always get the solo faction quests for either faction by going to the Wayfarer Camp in Lava Storm Mountains just east of the Sol B entrance at /loc 2200, -50. When you get there, you will want to talk to either Wayfarers Mercenary Elanye or Bitral, or Varein or Jeryx. They'll offer you solo missions to increase your faction; note that this is a solo goal, as in only you need to loot or be part of the kills; you may accomplish it grouped or solo. You can also get the tokens by completing a group quest that someone else has obtained.

How many tokens you will need to turn in before achieving indifferent faction will depend on your starting race, diety and class, and on which side you decide to work for.

Note: at some point, you may find that you don't have the faction to get the next step; just do (or redo) more group missions at the present step and keep turning in the faction crystals.

Level One
Gift of the Keepers or Gift of the Dark Reign

Once you have achieved at least indifferent faction, you are ready to work on the first level of quests, which are three solo missions and one group mission:

Keepers of Norrath

Dark Reign

Go to the Keepers of Norrath camp (west side of Broodlands entrance), hail Chieftain Relae Aderi and follow the dialog; he will send you to speak to Private Nylaen Kel’Ther, who will assign you three solo quests:

Go to the Dark Reign camp (east side of Broodlands entrance), hail Commander Zaerr Ty'Dal and follow the dialog; he will send you to speak with Officer Sirrikis Ryktor, who will assign you three solo quests:

Solo Mission S.1.1: Greed of the Goblins
Objective: Kill 11 Stillmoon Laborers
Zone: Stillmoon Temple

Solo Mission S.1.1: Blood of the Basilisk
Objective: Loot 5 Simmering Basilisk Bloods

Once all three are complte, return to camp and hail Chieftain Relae Aderi again and follow the dialog; he will send you to speak to Keeper Dilar Nelune, who will assign you a group mission for 3-6 players (average level must be 68 or higher):

Once all three are complete, return to camp and hail Commander Zaerr Ty'Dal again and follow the dialog; he will send you to speak with Officer Vacax Rol`Tas, who will assign you a group mission for 3-6 players:

Group Mission G.1.1: Children of Gimblax
Objective: Spawn and kill Gimblax
Zone: INSTANCED version of Stillmoon Temple

Group Mission G.1.1: Have Note Will Travel
Objective: Spawn and kill Goblin Task Master. Loot Letter from Tirranun
Zone: INSTANCED version of Tirranun's Delve

Once completed, return to camp and hail Chieftain Relae Aderi again.

You will recieve 2 AA points and a new AA: Gift of the Keepers (+10 to all stats and +10 to all stat caps).

Once completed, return to camp and hail Commander Zaerr Ty'Dal again, and hand in Letter from Tirranun.

You will recieve 2 AA points and a new AA: Gift of the Dark Reign (+10 to all stats and +10 to all stat caps).

Level Two:
Valor of the Keepers or Tenacity of the Dark Reign

Once you have completed the above, you are ready to work on the next level of quests, which are three solo missions, one group mission, and one raid mission:

Hail Chieftain Relae Aderi again, and follow the dialog; he will send you to speak to Private Nylaen Kel’Ther, who will assign you three more solo quests:

Once all three are complte, return to camp and hail Chieftain Relae Aderi again and follow the dialog; he will send you to speak to Keeper Dilar Nelune, who will assign you a group mission for 3-6 players, as well as sending you to speak with Lieutenant Ekiltu Verlor, who will assign you a Raid Event:

Group Mission G.2.1: Sickness of the Spirit
Objective: Kill/hail to spawn Nethran, then kill him.
Zone: INSTANCED version of Stillmoon Temple

Group Mission G.2.1: Drake Egg
Objective: Loot a Drake Egg and kill 'a goblin guard'.
Zone: INSTANCED version of The Ascent

Raid Mission R.2.1: Calling of Emoush (up to 24 participants, 6 loots)
Objective: Kill Emoush. Loot a Glowing Stone Fragment.
Zone: INSTANCED version of Tirranun's Delve
Spoiler: Basically just steamroll to the named, you'll see 3 Prophets (Goblins) there. Tank and DPS each one down to an inch of their life and kill them simultaneously. They'll go 'unconscious'. Emoush then becomes targettable and attackable. He has a 900 pt. DD with a knockback. Drops sub Elemental gear / weapon and 6 "Glowing Stone Fragment".

Once completed, return to Chieftain Relae Aderi again and hand him the Glowing Stone Fragment.

You will recieve 2 AA points, a new AA: Valor of the Keepers (a 3% (not counting ND AA) increase to HP, a 200 increase to Mana, and an unknown increase to Endurance), and the new level 69 spell for your class.

Once completed, return to Commander Zaerr Ty'Dal again and hand him the Glowing Stone Fragment.

You will recieve 2 AA points and a new AA: Tenacity of the Dark Reign (a 3% (not counting ND AA) increase to HP, a 200 increase to Mana, and an unknown increase to Endurance), and the new level 69 spell for your class.

Level Three:
Embrace of the Keepers or Embrace of the Dark Reign

Once you have completed the above, you are ready to work on the next level of quests, which are three solo missions, two group missions, and one raid mission:

Group Mission G.3.1: History of the Isle
Objective: Loot four items; combine three in the fourth.
Zone: INSTANCED version of Thundercrest Isles

Group Mission G.3.1: The Gilded Scroll
Objective: Loot the scrolls; one will become a Gilded Scroll; kill spawned mob, turn scroll in.
Zone: INSTANCED version of Thundercrest Isles

Raid Mission R.3.1: Trial of Perseverance (up to 24 participants, 6 loots)
Objective: Kill Goblin Warlord. Loot a Goblin Warlord's Beads.
Zone: INSTANCED version of Stillmoon Temple
Spoiler: Kill goblins in the courtyard until the Warlord pops; kill him. Drops sub Elemental gear / weapon and 6 "Goblin Warlord's Beads".

Raid Mission R.3.2: Volkara's Bite (up to 42 participants, 6 loots)
Objective: Kill Volkara. Loot a Lava Spider Spinners.
Zone: INSTANCED version of Lavaspinner's Lair
Spoiler: DPS Volkara until egg sacs spawn; redirect DPS to the sacs until all dead, redirect DPS to named; repeat. Drops sub Elemental gear / weapon and 6 "Lava Spider Spinners".

Once all have been completed, return to Chieftain Relae Aderi and hand him the Lava Spider Spinners and Goblin Warlord's Beads.

You will recieve 2 AA points, a new AA: Embrace of the Keepers - an extra buff slot.

Once all have been completed, return to Commander Zaerr Ty'Dal again and hand him the Lava Spider Spinners and Goblin Warlord's Beads.

You will recieve 2 AA points and a new AA: Embrace of the Dark Reign - an extra buff slot.

Level Four:
Power of the Keepers or Power of the Dark Reign

Once you have completed the above (and are at least Kindly?), you are ready to work on the next level of quests, which are three raid missions:

Dark Reign

Hail Chieftain Relae Aderi again, and follow the dialog; he will send you to speak to Lieutenant Ekiltu Verlor, who will assign you two Raid Events for up to 24 players each:

Hail Commander Zaerr Ty'Dal again, and follow the dialog; he will send you to speak with Captain Aleeh Zyrv, who will assign you 2 Raid Events for up to 24 players each:

Raid Mission R.4.1: Goblin Dojo (up to 24 participants, 6 loots)
Objective: Kill the Guardian of the Temple. Loot a Meditation Stone.
Zone: INSTANCED version of Thundercrest Isles
Spoiler: Kill in this order, due to AEs:

Round 1: Disciple of Fire, then Water, then Air, Wood, Earth; rez/med/rebuff;
Round 2: Master of Contentment, Deceit, Doubt, Rage; rez/med/rebuff;
Round 3: Grandmaster Snake, then Puma, then Beetle; rez/med/rebuff;
Round 4: Melee vs Silk, Spells vs Steel;
Round 5: Guardian of the Temple.

Raid Mission R.4.2: Guardians of the Sands (up to 42 participants, 6 loots)
Objective: Kill the Guardian of the Sands. Loot a Quintessence of Sand.
Zone: INSTANCED version of Stillmoon Temple
Spoiler: Stay on the path; stay off the sand (adds). Kill Guardian of the Sands.

Once both are complte, return to Chieftain Relae Aderi, hand in Quintessence of Sand and Meditation Stone, follow text to get a Raid Event:

Raid Mission R.4.3: An End to the Storms (up to 54 participants, 9 loots)
Objective: Kill Yar'Lir. Loot a "Yar'Lir's Fang".

Once all have been completed, return to Chieftain Relae Aderi and hand him Yar'Lir's Fang.

You will recieve 2 AA points, a new AA: Power of the Keepers - Increase chance to critical heal, critical hit, critical DD / DoT by 3%.

Once all have been completed, return to Commander Zaerr Ty'Dal again and hand him Yar'Lir's Fang.

You will recieve 2 AA points and a new AA: Power of the Dark Reign - Increase chance to critical heal, critical hit, critical DD / DoT by 3%.

Level Five:
Sanctity of the Keepers or Ferver of the Dark Reign
